Marinate meat

Marinate meat
Make meat taste better by marinating it first - it's a quick, easy way to intensify the flavour!

Step 1: Combine the marinade in a shallow glass or ceramic dish. Add the meat (smaller pieces can be threaded onto bamboo skewers) and turn to coat. Cover and place in the fridge to develop the flavours before cooking.

Step 2: To marinate meat before freezing, combine marinade and meat in a bowl. Transfer to a sealable plastic bag. Label, date and freeze. To thaw, place in the fridge overnight or until thawed. Don't freeze dairy-based marinades.
